At MonsterSlam, we know how to put on big, memorable events that people enjoy. So when our team focus on live music, you can expect the same attention to detail, crowd-pleasing energy, and real festival atmosphere. Kent Tribute Festival 2026 is the music-loving sibling in the family, and it’s shaping up to be one hell of a Bank Holiday weekend.

Now moving to the spacious grounds of Quex Park in Birchington, the festival is expanding into a full May Bank Holiday weekend for the first time. That means three days of brilliant tribute performances, family-friendly entertainment, great food, and the chance to settle into the festival experience.

Kent Tribute Festival: A bigger home, a bigger weekend

With its new location at Quex Park, Kent Tribute Festival has room to grow. The park offers open green spaces, easy access for visitors, and the perfect setting for a relaxed, open-air celebration of music.

The festival runs from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th May 2026, with camping available until Monday, so you can turn it into a full long-weekend getaway.

Whether you’re coming for a single day or staying the whole weekend, the new format means more music, more choice, and more time to enjoy everything on offer.

Gerald McCarthy, organiser, has this to say: "After 8 years at Strode Park in Herne Bay, we're excited to bring the event to the spacious grounds of Quex Park, Birchington. This new venue offers more space, free parking, a three-day schedule, and a new camping option. We're pleased we can continue supporting The Strode Park Foundation, a registered charity, and look forward to seeing familiar and new faces this May."

A line-up built for big crowds and big sing-alongs

Kent Tribute Festival is all about bringing the world’s most loved artists to the stage through top-quality tribute acts. Across the weekend, you’ll hear the sounds of Adele, Robbie Williams, Blur, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Eminem, Oasis, ABBA, Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones, and many more.

Headliners include crowd favourites like Pure Queen and Bon Giovi, delivering high-energy performances that feel just as exciting as the real thing.

With two stages running across Saturday and Sunday, there’s always something happening, whether you’re into pop anthems, rock classics, reggae grooves, or modern chart hits.

More than just music

This isn’t the kind of festival where you just turn up, watch a band, and go home. Kent Tribute Festival has built a reputation for offering something for everyone.

Families can enjoy fairground rides, inflatables, animals, face painting and kid-friendly entertainment. Adults can relax with a drink, explore the food stalls, or soak up the atmosphere in the VIP area.

It’s designed to be fun, easy-going and welcoming, whether you’re bringing the kids, meeting friends, or making it a weekend escape.

Camping for the full festival experience

For those who want the full festival lifestyle, camping is available for three nights starting Friday morning.

Pitches are clearly laid out, with options for tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. There are showers on site, a quiet-time policy after 11pm, and a friendly festival community.

Camping spaces are limited, so booking early is the best way to secure your spot and enjoy the weekend without worrying about daily travel.

Affordable, accessible, and community-focused

One of the standout features of Kent Tribute Festival is its focus on accessibility. Ticket prices have been reduced for 2026, parking is free, and the layout at Quex Park makes it easier for families, groups, and day visitors to get in and out.

The festival also has a strong community spirit. Over the years, it has raised more than £80,000 for the Strode Park Foundation, and that charitable focus continues into its new chapter at Quex Park.

Why festivals like this matter

In a world of short-lived events and pop-up festivals that disappear as quickly as they arrive, Kent Tribute Festival has built something lasting.

It’s a local event, run by local people, designed for real audiences who want great music, good vibes and a weekend they’ll remember. The move to Quex Park and the new three-day format show a festival that’s growing, not chasing trends or cutting corners.

When people want a proper festival experience without the chaos or the massive price tag, this is the kind of event they come back to year after year.

Planning your visit

Whether you’re attending for one day or the weekend, everything has been thought through to make your visit simple and enjoyable. There are clear arrival points, food and drink options across the site, and a safe, family-friendly atmosphere throughout.

Just bring your festival spirit, a sense of adventure, and maybe a voice that’s ready for a few hours of enthusiastic singing along.
