They're back for 2021 - with friends!
BIG PETE & THE GRIM REAPER!
In July 2019, thousdands enjoyed seing two real Monster Trucks at work jumping over and crushing cars and caravans. Seeing metal beasts jumping 15ft in the air is an impressive sight!
Weighing in at 7.5 tons these awesome machines are back - and built for one reason only – mass destruction! Big Pete is one of Europe’s largest Monster Trucks with a full size American truck body, and is partnered by the whopping Grim Reaper!
Enjoy another fantastic Monster Truck showcase in 2021 - crushing cars, pulling tearing them in half and lookout for further caravan carnage too!
Action packed performance with amusing and entertaining radio commentary by the driver throughout the display.
Between displays the public are invited to meet the team in the holding area and a chance to have your picture taken with a real monster truck!
MEET THE FANTASTIC 2021
Motorcycle Stunt Team!
The nationally acclaimed team has one of sthe largest most high tech landing ramps in the world and has been ridden by the world’s best freestyle professionals.
The ramp allows the riders to jump gaps of over 75 feet and reach heights of over 35ft in the air, which gives the riders enough “air-time” to perform an array of death defying tricks usually only seen on T.V. The show features tricks such as the ‘look back heart attack’, ‘holy grab’, ‘cliff hanger’, ‘kiss of death’, ‘dead body’ and many more. Many of these moves will result in the rider exiting their seat, taking their hands off the handlebars and rotating their body around the bike!
The team is fronted by Jamie Squibb who also provides his own on board commentary whilst performing tricks 35feet in the air!
Lasyt year for many, the FMX displays were some of the best parts of Monsterslam and you're guaranteed further edge-of-your-seat stuff from a team that are one of the best in the business!
Between displays the public are more than welcome to make their way over to the interactive stand where they can get a closer look at the bikes and meet the riders. - and maybe grab a selfie or two!
READY FOR AN EVEN BIGGER ADRENALINE RUSH IN SUMMER 2021?
AIRCRAFT STUNT DISPLAY!
Bringing something unique to Monsterslam 2020 - we present to you Mark Jeffries from the Global Stars aerobatic team in his Extra 330 - capable of speeds of 350kmh!
As organisers of the Southeast Airshow for many years we thought we'd call on a few friends to add than little bit of aerial fun to Monsterslam 2 - and boy you're in for a treat!
It will be eyes to the skies on 5th July as Mark shows why he's rated as one of the UK's top aerobatics piots.
Expect smoke trails, engine stalls, swoops and dives plus a whole lot more which will leave you truly stunned - you may even get a pattern or two you recognise in the sky!
Please note that this performance will be subject to weather conditions and that Manston Road along the perimeter of Quex Park will be closed for the duration of this display (10-15 mins)
Eye of the Tiger!
TIgers Freefall Parachute team!
Experienced parachutists from The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment's Parachute display team and the Queens Division - "The Tigers" - will be dropping into the arena from around 12,000 feet - smoke trailing, flags flying, performing amazing formations both in the air and under the parachute!
The Tigers are the flagship team for the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment, whose seniority stems from the Tangier Regiment of 1661 thus having the distinction of being the senior English Infantry Regiment of the line.
These guys are on fire!
The Stannage Stunt Team
You will be! The stannage stunt team perform death-defying stunts including a blazing fall from a tower, the 'exploding coffin' - one of their team is sealed inside a coffin and underneath bags containing flammable liquid - wired to triggers are placed.
You guessed it - the bags are detonated and the coffin and its poor guest are covered in flames as the coffin explodes!
Look out for other stunts and tricks complete with some comedy commentary throughout!
